
IOSH Managing Safely (4 Days)
Managing safely is a course for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation. It’s designed to give managers all they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their teams. The flexible, high-impact programme covers all the main health and safety issues and includes a session tackling the environment too.
The course lasts for 24 hours in total.
Managing safely can be delivered over 4 consecutive days or 4 single days over 4 weeks and has 8 modules. Delegates will be required to complete a project in their own time and based on their own workplace. A written exam paper has also to be successfully completed.

- Module 4 – Understanding your responsibilities
- Module 5 – Identifying hazards
- Module 6 – Investigating accidents and incidents
- Module 7 – Measuring performance
- Module 8 – Protecting our environment
Assessment
Learners must pass a multiple choice question paper and demonstrate competency in the practical assessments in order to achieve a pass. Our experienced and knowledgeable instructor will guide the learners through the course material and offer support and advice to ensure that learners are prepared for the assessments. The training is accessible and additional support is available to learners who require it.
Venue
This training course can be carried out on the customer’s premises. Requirements are a room with an electrical supply where a laptop and projector can be used. The site must also be suitable for confined space practical exercises.

Certification
A certificate is issued by IOSH on the successful completion of the four day training course.

Duration
The course lasts for 24 hours in total and can be delivered over four consecutive days or four single days over four weeks.

Capacity
We can take up to 12 people on each course.
