Safety Harness Training
This course is designed to allow for safe working using safety harnesses. Trainees will receive an overview of the safety harness and how to wear it properly. Safety checks, other safety equipment and what to do in an emergency will also be covered during the course of training.
What’s Covered?
Completion of this course provides each delegate with:
- Overview of the safety harness
- Why we wear them
- Who can’t wear them
- Pre-user inspections
- How to wear a safety harness
- Lanyards, fall arrest and inertia reels
- Emergency rescue procedure
Assessment
Learners must pass a multiple choice question paper and demonstrate competency in the practical assessments in order to achieve a pass. Our experienced and knowledgeable instructor will guide the learners through the course material and offer support and advice to ensure that learners are prepared for the assessments. The training is accessible and additional support is available to learners who require it.
Venue
This training course can be carried out on customer’s premises. Requirements are a room with an electrical supply where a laptop and projector can be used.
Certification
The certificate is valid for 5 years, after which time the course must be done again.
Duration
The training is carried out over one half day (2 to 3 hours).

We can take up to 10 people on each course.
